Near Miss

I suppose it’s about time I start the blogging. As a writer, I guess I’m obligated to do this part, though I’ll admit, it’s not my favorite. I’m a pretty private person, and my writing is very personal to me, so talking about it isn’t really my thing…but here goes nothing…

I’m 2/3 done with the Near Miss series, and about halfway through writing book #3. It’s been an experience watching these books be released to the wild, especially the audiobooks.

The narrators, Addison Barnes and Ryan Lee Dunlap have done such a great job bringing my books and characters to life, I almost wish everyone just listened to the books. Almost. (see what I did there?) Seriously, though, the audio versions are an experience I hope more readers will embrace because it is worth it.

Speaking of Almost, it’s about to be in the rearview mirror as book #2, So Close, is about to release in about 10 days. I’m dancing between continuing the push for book #1, drumming up excitement for book #2 and finishing the audiobook production, and completing the writing of book #3. I’m also starting to plan for my next series (Drive Me Wild). It’s quite the juggling act, but it’s exciting at the same time.

I keep telling myself, I should have done this years ago. While I do have other works released under a different name, these have been the most fun to write. I’m looking forward to continuing the journey. I hope you’ll come along for the ride.
